Scheduled water supply interruptions in Nicosia and Larnaca

The Nicosia District Self-Government Organization has announced a scheduled water supply interruption on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at 7:00 a.m. for maintenance work. The affected streets in Lakatamia include Alexandroupoleos, Ferekratous, Marias Magdalinis, Marias Egklitikis, Theofilou Georgiadi, Nevtonos, Fineas, Filonos, Filoktiti, and Filotheou. Water service is expected to be restored in the late afternoon of the same day. Separately, the Larnaca District Self-Government Organization reported an unscheduled water outage on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the area of the old GSZ stadium. Streets impacted in Larnaca include Adamantiou Korai, Akadimou, Frankinou Roosevelt, William Weir, and Adrianoupoleos. Restoration for the Larnaca area was scheduled for 20:00. Residents in Larnaca were advised to conserve water stored in private tanks until supply returned, citing ongoing water scarcity issues.
