Scheduled water supply suspension in Lakatamia for June 27

The Nicosia District Local Government Organisation (EOA Nicosia) has announced a scheduled water supply suspension for parts of the Lakatamia Municipality on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The interruption is required to facilitate maintenance works on the water supply network, starting at 7:00 a.m. The affected streets include Alexandroupoleos, Pherekratous, Maria Magdalinis, Maria Egklitikis, Theofilou Georgiadi, Nevtonos, Finea, Filonos, Filoktiti, and Filotheou. Water supply is expected to be restored late in the afternoon on the same day. EOA Nicosia has apologized to the public for the temporary inconvenience and expressed gratitude for their cooperation. Note that a separate, unrelated water disruption was reported in Larnaca on June 24, 2026, due to network improvement works near the old GSZ stadium, which is not connected to the Lakatamia event.
