Recent crime reports in Limassol

Limassol police have reported multiple arrests related to theft and burglary cases. A 22-year-old man was arrested for the theft of a motorcycle and possession of stolen electrical tools found at his residence and in his vehicle. Separately, a 46-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were remanded in custody for five days, accused of stealing aluminium door and window frames from a house in Moniatis and a restaurant in Alassa. In a third case, three individuals aged 26, 39, and 26 were arrested for the possession of stolen jewellery and watches. These three suspects were also remanded for five days following an investigation by the OPE unit. Investigations into all three distinct cases are ongoing by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department. The suspects in the burglary cases are known to authorities for previous similar activities.
