Ministry of education signs memorandum with special olympics cyprus

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Cyprus Special Olympics Federation. The agreement aims to advance inclusive education and sports programs within the national school system. Both parties commit to joint training initiatives and awareness campaigns to foster a non-discriminatory environment. The event highlighted the pilot 'Unified Schools' program, which recorded 130 activities across 14 primary and secondary schools over a five-month period. During the ceremony, participating schools from the 2025–2026 academic year were formally recognized. Representatives of these schools received commemorative plaques for their contributions to promoting inclusive education. This partnership seeks to provide equal opportunities for all students to reach their full potential through physical and educational activities.
