APOEL reaches agreement to sign Fabricio Pedrozo
APOEL has announced an initial agreement to sign the 33-year-old Argentine winger Fabricio Pedrozo, who was born on November 6, 1992. The transfer is a personal choice of APOEL coach Nikos Papadopoulos, who previously worked with the player at Levadiakos. Pedrozo is expected to arrive in Cyprus in the coming days to undergo medical examinations and complete the official transfer process. Over the past three years, the player recorded 83 appearances, 24 goals, and 8 assists. Additionally, APOEL is reportedly interested in 21-year-old midfielder Theofanis Bakoulas of Olympiacos, although initial inquiries have been met with refusal from the Greek club. The club's management, led by Zisis Vryzas and coach Papadopoulos, is focusing on players with proven experience to minimize transfer risks. Simultaneously, the club has reached a milestone in ticket sales, with over 6,200 season tickets sold for the upcoming season, which marks the team's 100th anniversary.
