Recall of Themra Afrodisiac Magiun supplement in Cyprus
The Cyprus Ministry of Health has announced the mandatory recall of the dietary supplement 'Themra – Afrodisiac Magiun'. Laboratory testing conducted by the State General Laboratory identified an unauthorized pharmaceutical substance in the product, which requires a medical prescription and is banned from use in nutritional supplements. The affected batch, which lists a production date of 22/10/2025 and an expiry date of 22/10/2028, is subject to immediate withdrawal from the Cypriot market. Health authorities have instructed the distributor to cease sales and pull the stock from circulation immediately. Consumers currently in possession of the supplement are strongly advised to stop consuming it. The ministry recommends returning the product to the original point of purchase. No health incidents were explicitly reported at the time of the announcement, but the measure was taken as a precaution due to the illicit ingredient.
