Larnaka 2030 organizes the Care Festival
The Care Festival is an initiative launched by the Larnaka 2030 organization, focusing on the concepts of care within cultural, social, and educational contexts. It aims to foster dialogue and inclusivity by connecting art with education and community participation. The initiative first debuted in October 2023, bringing together artists, educators, cultural professionals, and families to discuss the role of care in public life. One year later, in 2024, the festival held its second edition. The second edition was titled 'We, the Women, the Mothers' and aimed to expand the conversation regarding contemporary social challenges. The project promotes collective responsibility and active engagement as mechanisms to address inequality and social exclusion. By integrating these practices, the festival seeks to influence how individuals live, learn, and contribute to their communities.
