MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou signs Alexandros Efstathiou on loan from AEL Limassol

MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou has officially announced the acquisition of winger Alexandros Efstathiou from AEL Limassol on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 campaign. Efstathiou previously served as the captain of the AEL U19 team, where he participated in 20 matches during the previous season. The player has also represented his national team, having recorded two official appearances for the Cyprus U19 squad. Additionally, he was a key member of the National Armed Forces team that qualified for the World Championship final phase. The clubs confirmed that the agreement was reached through a collaborative process between both organizations. MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou stated that the loan aims to provide the player with professional development opportunities for the duration of the upcoming season.
