Investigation opened following death of 35-year-old mother in Livadeia
A 35-year-old woman from Livadeia died shortly after giving birth to her second child. Following the delivery, the mother suffered severe complications, leading to a transfer from the local hospital to Thriasio Hospital, where she eventually passed away. The widower reports that his wife experienced significant vaginal bleeding, necessitating a hysterectomy during her care. He claims he repeatedly requested updates from the medical staff but was told only that she suffered from internal bleeding.
