Andreas Karamanolis signs with Anorthosis until 2028
Anorthosis Famagusta has officially secured the permanent transfer of 24-year-old Cypriot defender Andreas Karamanolis from the Greek club Panserraikos. The player, who previously spent the last season with Anorthosis on a loan basis, has signed a two-year contract extending his stay until May 2028. During his loan period, Karamanolis made 17 appearances in all competitions and scored one goal. Media reports indicate that the transfer fee was finalized at a lower amount than the original purchase option, with some sources citing a figure of approximately 25,000 euros. This move is part of the club's strategy to retain its core roster while facing ongoing transfer restrictions. Additionally, the club is currently in negotiations with Belgian coach Karel Geraerts to fill its vacant managerial position.
