53-year-old man hospitalized in critical condition in Ayia Napa

On the morning of June 28, 2026, a 53-year-old man was found severely injured on Eleftherias Street in Ayia Napa. The police were notified by the Famagusta General Hospital shortly before 7:00 a.m. that the individual had been admitted for emergency treatment. Initial medical examinations revealed that the man sustained a skull fracture and a cerebral hemorrhage. Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to the Nicosia General Hospital. He remains intubated and in critical condition. The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have not yet determined how the man sustained his injuries.
