Sébastien Ogier wins the 2026 EKO Acropolis Rally

Sébastien Ogier, driving for the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team, won the 2026 EKO Acropolis Rally on June 28 with a total time of 3 hours, 36 minutes, and 40.7 seconds. The event was held under challenging conditions, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius and difficult, rocky terrain. Throughout the race, Toyota drivers faced the disadvantage of cleaning gravel from the road due to their championship standing. Thierry Neuville of Hyundai led the competition for much of the event, entering the final day with a narrow margin. The turning point occurred on the penultimate special stage, 'Agioi Theodoroi 2,' where Neuville suffered two rear tire punctures, losing significant time. Ogier capitalized on the situation to secure his 69th career victory, his second of the season, and his first Acropolis win in 15 years. Neuville finished second, 58.3 seconds behind, while Takamoto Katsuta completed the podium in third place.
