Paralimni-Deryneia municipality launches real-time beach monitoring platform

The Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia has launched the digital platform ParaliesLive, available at https://paralieslive.com, to provide real-time updates on local beach conditions. The system allows users to monitor live video feeds, visitor density, air and water temperatures, and current weather conditions. The project was developed in partnership with Neuranet Solutions Ltd and Cosmos Wireless as part of the municipality's strategy to integrate digital technologies for public service. Upon full completion of the rollout, the network will feature 18 live cameras covering the region's major beaches. Mayor Giorgos Nikolettos stated that some cameras are already operational, with the remaining units scheduled for installation in the coming days. The platform aims to assist both residents and visitors while promoting the area's coastline to a wider audience.
