Emmanouil Karalis finishes third at the Paris Diamond League pole vault event

Greek pole vaulter Emmanouil Karalis finished in third place at the Diamond League meeting in Paris. Karalis successfully cleared 5.63 meters and 5.83 meters during the competition. After failing his attempts at 5.93 meters, he opted to move to 6.03 meters but recorded two invalid attempts. The event was won by Armand Duplantis, who cleared 6.13 meters to establish a new meet record, surpassing his previous 2021 performance. French athlete Baptiste Thierry secured second place with a personal best jump of 5.93 meters. This result places Karalis on the podium alongside Duplantis and Thierry.
