Cyprus Ports Authority to present Larnaca port and marina development roadmap

On July 2 at 6 p.m., the Cyprus Ports Authority will present a development roadmap for the Larnaca port and marina project. The presentation will occur during a meeting of the Larnaca City and District Development Committee at the Multifunctional Social Welfare and Employment Centre. The project involves the Cyprus Ports Authority assuming full management responsibility to transform the site into a tourism and commercial hub. Plans include an expanded marina with a capacity for 200 vessels and the development of 50,000 square meters of land for urban use. This roadmap follows a May 15 meeting between President Nikos Christodoulides, Transport Minister Alexis Vafeadis, and local stakeholders. While the original government goal set a project completion deadline for June 30, 2026, the current presentation confirms the completion of the formal planning phase. The project also aims to unify the coastal front of the city.
