Scheduled water supply interruptions in Larnaca district

The District Local Government Organisation (DLGO) of Larnaca has announced scheduled water supply interruptions due to necessary network improvement works. On July 2, 2026, water service was suspended until 15:00 in the tourist area between the port and KOT beach. Previously, on June 29, 2026, a similar interruption affected the Kamara area until 15:00. Additionally, a scheduled disruption was announced for July 1, 2026, in the Church Square area of Athienou municipality. Authorities have urged consumers to use stored water reserves in private tanks prudently during these maintenance periods. The organization apologized for the inconvenience caused by these operations and noted that efforts are being made to minimize the impact on local needs. These works are part of broader maintenance efforts to improve water infrastructure and address local scarcity issues.
