SES and Tototheo Global expand maritime satellite connectivity partnership
Space solutions company SES and Cyprus-based Tototheo Global have signed a multi-year agreement to deploy FlexMaritime services on a global scale. This partnership leverages SES' high-throughput multi-orbit satellite network combined with integrated terrestrial infrastructure to provide reliable connectivity for the merchant shipping sector. The service aims to support critical vessel operations, enhance crew welfare, and accelerate the digital transformation of maritime fleets. Simon Maher, Senior Vice President of Maritime at SES, stated that the agreement provides scalable connectivity solutions for global partners. Co-CEO of Tototheo Global, Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, emphasized that the collaboration supports the industry's shift toward data-driven onboard services. The platform is designed to offer seamless communication and improved operational performance for vessel owners and operators worldwide. The agreement formalizes the long-standing collaboration between the two companies to offer advanced communications technology.
