Valentin Roberge joins ATE-PEK Parekklisia in a dual role

Valentin Roberge has officially joined the amateur club ATE-PEK Parekklisia, also known as Genesis FC, after concluding his professional football career. The experienced central defender will serve in a dual capacity as both an active player and an assistant coach. Roberge, who has obtained Cypriot citizenship, previously played for clubs including EA Guingamp, Paris Saint-Germain, Stade Reims, Sunderland, Maritimo, Aris Thessaloniki, Apollon Limassol, and AEK Larnaca. He also represented the Cyprus national football team during his career. The club stated that Roberge’s decision to join is driven by his desire to contribute to the local community and assist in the club's future development. He aims to mentor younger players and help strengthen the team's internal culture. This transition marks the start of a new chapter for the former professional defender in the amateur league.
