AEL Limassol in negotiations with Lorenzo Insigne

AEL Limassol is currently in discussions to sign 35-year-old Italian forward Lorenzo Insigne for the upcoming season. Insigne, who previously played for Napoli and most recently Pescara, is currently a free agent. During his tenure at Pescara in the previous season, he recorded 13 appearances, 5 goals, and 3 assists. His career includes extensive experience in Serie A and international duty, where he earned 54 caps and scored 10 goals for Italy. He was a member of the Italian team that won Euro 2020. Insigne also spent time in the MLS with Toronto FC before returning to Pescara in 2026. AEL management views this potential acquisition as a significant move to strengthen their attacking line for the next campaign.
