President Christodoulides addresses University of Nicosia graduation ceremony

On Monday evening, President Nikos Christodoulides attended the graduation ceremony for the School of Business at the University of Nicosia. During his address, the President highlighted that over 82% of graduates secure employment in fields related to their studies shortly after graduation. He announced that starting next year, the government will formally honor graduates from private universities. Additionally, he revealed plans to establish a government-backed organization in collaboration with local universities, modeled after the British Council, aimed at attracting more international students. The President also referenced the recent opening of the University of Nicosia’s facilities in Athens as evidence of the country's growing academic influence. Finally, he emphasized the importance of digital transition, artificial intelligence, and green development in shaping the modern professional landscape.
