Pafos FC acquires Sami Mmaee and weighs decision on Derrick Luckassen
Pafos FC has officially announced the loan signing of 29-year-old Moroccan central defender Sami Mmaee from Dinamo Zagreb for the 2026/27 season, with an included option to purchase. The club is currently covering his full salary. Mmaee has already joined the team's training camp in Austria. Meanwhile, the club's status regarding defender Derrick Luckassen remains uncertain. Although club representative Christoforos Matthaiou stated that the current A-list roster is full following Mmaee's arrival, the door for keeping Luckassen has not been definitively closed. The club is in ongoing communication with the player, offering him a renewal proposal while allowing him time to decide amid interest from other teams. Furthermore, reports indicate the club has submitted a second official bid of 400,000 euros for 21-year-old Austrian defender Philipp Milojevic of Rheindorf Altach.
