Pafos FC moves to secure Bambo Diaby and renews contact with Derrick Luckassen
Pafos FC is finalizing the transfer of 28-year-old Senegalese central defender Bambo Diaby, who is expected to join the team's training camp in Austria after medical examinations. Diaby, who has previously played for clubs including Sampdoria, Barnsley, and Elche, is reportedly near a deal following advanced negotiations. Simultaneously, the club has not closed the chapter on 30-year-old defender Derrick Luckassen. Press officer Christoforos Mattheou confirmed that Luckassen has requested more time to decide on a renewal, as he remains fully focused on his national team commitments. Additionally, Pafos FC is in the process of signing 27-year-old Angolan forward Afimico Pululu, who has arrived in Cyprus to finalize his contract. Pululu joins from Jagiellonia Bialystok, where he recorded 56 goals and 17 assists in 134 appearances. These moves reflect the club's strategy to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season.
