Attempted assassination of businessman Vadym Yermolaiev in Monaco

On Monday, June 29, an explosive device detonated at the entrance of a residential building in Monaco, injuring three people. The primary target is identified as 58-year-old Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev, a Cypriot passport holder, while his companion Hanna Nasobina and a 13-year-old boy were also wounded in the blast. Investigations suggest the bomb, packed with bolts and metal fragments, was a premeditated assassination attempt rather than an act of terrorism. Security cameras recorded a suspect, believed to be a woman in disguise, placing a bag at the scene before fleeing. While Yermolaiev is no longer in critical condition, Nasobina remains in a serious state with severe leg injuries.
