Trial scheduled for suspect in murder of Bangladeshi student in Larnaca

A suspect who confessed to the murder of 22-year-old Bangladeshi student Shahruar Ahmed Emon has been referred to the Larnaca permanent criminal court, with proceedings scheduled for September 24. The prosecution alleges that the suspect met the victim on a bus on June 7 and lured him to the Kofinou area on June 11 under the pretense of offering him a job paying 50 euros per day.
