Apollon Limassol departs for pre-season training in the Netherlands
Apollon Limassol departed from Paphos International Airport on July 2, 2026, for their main pre-season training camp in Enschede, Netherlands, which will last until July 13, 2026. The delegation consists of 28 players who will reside at the Bad Boekelo Resort. Forward Ali Youssef did not travel with the squad as he is currently in negotiations regarding his future, with reports linking him to the Swedish club Mjällby. Should the transfer talks fail to conclude, the player is expected to join the team in the Netherlands at a later date. During the training camp, the team has scheduled three friendly matches: against K.S.V. Rohda Raalte on July 4, FC Utrecht on July 7, and Go Ahead Eagles on July 11. The club is also working on strengthening its roster, having recently acquired Leonidas Konomis, Conor Goldson, and Kostas Balogiannis to rebuild their defensive line.
