Conclusion of the cultural program for the Cypriot EU Council Presidency

Deputy Minister of Culture Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou announced the conclusion of the cultural program associated with the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. The program officially ended with a concert by Cypriot pianist Cyprien Katsaris and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. According to the Ministry, over 500 artists and cultural professionals participated in events held both in Cyprus and abroad. The initiative included archaeological exhibitions at international venues such as the Louvre in Paris, Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, and the Picasso Museum in Barcelona. Additionally, contemporary art exhibitions were organized in Nicosia, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, and Brussels. The program served as a vehicle for cultural diplomacy, aiming to highlight Cyprus's heritage within the broader European context.
