AEK Larnaca reportedly tracking forward Modou Lamin Marong
AEK Larnaca is reported to be among the clubs interested in 20-year-old Gambian forward Modou Lamin Marong. Currently playing for the Slovakian club FC STK Samorin, the 1.95m tall striker has attracted attention due to his physical presence in the penalty area. Journalist Foday Manneh confirmed that, in addition to AEK, European clubs including Hibernian, Dundee United, and ETO Gyor have also inquired about the player. Marong began his career at Steve Biko FC in Gambia before moving to Hungary's Nyiregyhaza Spartacus FC, where he made 22 appearances. Since his move to Slovakia, he has recorded one official appearance without scoring. His ability to play as both a central striker and on the wings is cited as a key reason for the interest from various teams. The reports describe him as a tall, powerful player currently being evaluated by several European sides.
