Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Orounda

On June 30, at approximately 21:15, a 58-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old man in the village of Orounda, Nicosia district. Following the collision, an ambulance transported both individuals to the Nicosia General Hospital for medical evaluation. The 69-year-old driver was examined and subsequently discharged from the hospital. The 58-year-old victim remains in the intensive care unit in critical condition. Police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. The Peristerona Police Station is currently in charge of the investigation into the accident.
