Recent series of arrests for burglaries, thefts, and robberies in Limassol and Paphos

Cyprus Police have reported several criminal cases across Limassol and Paphos. In Limassol, a 20-year-old man reported being robbed of a backpack containing a mobile phone and 50 euros by three individuals on a motorcycle at 3 a.m. Additionally, three suspects aged 18, 21, and 23 were arrested for stealing air conditioners and solar heaters from three vacant houses in the Limassol district, an incident reported on July 3, 2026. A 48-year-old employee was arrested in Limassol for allegedly stealing approximately 93,000 euros from her company between 2025 and 2026. Another 46-year-old man was arrested in Limassol for the burglary of an 89-year-old woman's home on June 26, 2026, involving the theft of property valued at 45,000 euros; he has been remanded for five days. Finally, in Paphos, police arrested two individuals aged 17 and 18 for possession of two motorcycles that lacked registration plates.
