Andreas Yiasemides becomes new CEO of PwC Cyprus

Andreas Yiasemides officially assumed the position of CEO of PwC Cyprus on July 1, 2026. He was elected by the organization's partners in December 2025 for a four-year term, succeeding Philippos Soseilos. Soseilos, who had served as CEO since January 2022, officially concluded his tenure on June 30, 2026. Following this transition, Soseilos decided to retire from the organization effective July 1, 2026, which is six months earlier than his statutory retirement date of December 31, 2026. Yiasemides joined the organization as a partner in 2016 and has over 25 years of professional experience, having served as a board member and leader in fund services. During his inaugural statement, Yiasemides emphasized a future strategy focused on sustainable growth and innovation. Soseilos, who joined the firm in 1989, oversaw the company during periods of geopolitical uncertainty and rapid technological change. The leadership change comes as the professional services sector faces increasing regulation and the integration of artificial intelligence.
