Ukraine conducts long-range drone strikes on military and industrial targets in Russia
Ukrainian forces have conducted a series of long-range strikes against multiple targets deep within Russian territory. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed a second strike on an oil refinery in Ufa, located over 1,300 kilometers from the front line. Additionally, a strike targeted a military-industrial facility in the Penza region, which the Ukrainian General Staff identified as part of Roscosmos, involved in manufacturing sensor components for cruise and ballistic missiles. Another target was a satellite communications center in Dubna, Moscow region, located over 500 kilometers from the border, which is reportedly used for military reconnaissance and coordination. Furthermore, the Ukrainian military struck two bridges and a logistics hub in Russian-occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. These actions are part of a broader campaign aimed at disrupting Russian logistics and supply chains. While Ukraine frames these attacks as a direct response to Russian aggression, reports also emerged regarding civilian casualties in Russia following a drone attack. Analysts suggest these operations are intended to slow down Russian military capabilities.
