Ryan Mmaee transfers from Omonia Nicosia to Mexican club Atlas

Moroccan forward Ryan Mmaee is departing Omonia Nicosia to join the Mexican club Atlas. The transfer process encountered brief delays due to outstanding documentation, which caused the club to postpone an official announcement scheduled for early July 2026. Sports journalist César Luis Merlo confirmed that the deal remains secure and is not at risk of collapsing. While the specific transfer fee has been kept confidential by Atlas’s new management under the Grupo PRODI consortium, reports suggest Mmaee will earn over 3 million euros over a three-year contract, excluding performance bonuses. The club transition from Grupo Orlegi to Grupo PRODI was formally presented on July 2, 2026, in the presence of Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro.
