EAC continues smart meter installations throughout July

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced that the mass installation of smart meters will continue throughout July. Work is scheduled for specific areas in the Nicosia, Limassol, and Famagusta districts. In Nicosia, installations will occur in Geri, covering areas near Dimitri Christofia, Griva Digeni, and Athalassas Avenues. In Limassol, affected areas include the region near Omonoias Avenue, Marinou Geroulanou, and the coastal communities of Agios Tychonas, Parekklisia, and Pyrgos. In the Famagusta district, workers will be present in Paralimni near Kappari Avenue and in Protaras along the Protaras-Cavo Greco and Pernera avenues. During the replacement process, consumers will experience a power outage expected to last no more than 20 minutes. The EAC has apologized for any inconvenience caused by this infrastructure upgrade.
