Tensions persist between Cyprus and Turkey regarding strategic defense agreements

The Republic of Cyprus has recently entered into military agreements with France and established cooperation with Israel, moves aimed at upgrading its strategic position. The Turkish government has consistently criticized these actions and issued threats, characterizing them as provocative.
