Cyprus Basketball Federation holds meeting with ECOMMBX Basket League presidents

The Cyprus Basketball Federation (KOK) held a meeting with the presidents of the ECOMMBX Basket League clubs. The meeting was led by KOK president Louis Dimitriou to discuss the future of Cypriot basketball. Participants focused on administrative improvements, organizational upgrades, and the general development of the sport in the country. During the session, the KOK proposed a new format for the league, which is intended to be implemented for the 2026-27 season. Club presidents presented their concerns and suggestions to the federation. All discussed points will be reviewed by the KOK Board of Directors in their next session for potential approval. Separately, the new KOK Board of Directors was formed during its first session on June 29, which now includes representatives from players and the wheelchair basketball league.
