New board of directors appointed for the natural gas public company

The Cypriot Council of Ministers announced the appointment of a new Board of Directors for the Natural Gas Public Company (DEFA). Government spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis confirmed that the decision was made in accordance with Article 3 of the Law on Certain Legal Entities of Public Law. Giorgos Pistentis has been appointed as the President of the Board. Paris Konstantinou will serve as the Vice President. Other appointed members include Thomas Sepos, Konstantinos Danos, Kyriakos Stylianou, Dr. Nikos Solomou, and Konstantinos Pittas. Additionally, the board includes Andreas Zachariadis, Director General of the Ministry of Finance, and Kyriakos Iordanou, Director General of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
