Stavros Gavriel signs three-year deal with Nacional Madeira

Cypriot forward Stavros Gavriel has officially signed a three-year contract with the Portuguese club Nacional Madeira. The 24-year-old player joins the team after spending approximately two years at the Belgian club Zulte Waregem. Reports regarding his previous statistics vary, with some sources citing 24 appearances with one goal and one assist, while others claim over 60 appearances with nine goals and 12 assists. Gavriel traveled to Portugal earlier this week to undergo medical examinations before finalizing the agreement. He was also reportedly targeted by APOEL for a return to Cyprus, but chose to continue his career abroad. The transfer was confirmed by his manager, Costas Montis, through social media. Gavriel will now compete in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, which offers a higher level of competition.
