Road maintenance work in Limassol city center

The Municipality of Limassol has announced road maintenance works scheduled from 06:00 on Monday, July 6, 2026, until 18:00 on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The project involves the removal of cobblestones and the installation of new asphalt on a section of Anexartisias Street. The affected area spans from the intersection with Athinon Street to the intersection with Christodoulou Chatzipavlou Street. This segment will be completely closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the construction. The Municipality stated that the work aims to upgrade the road network, improve safety, and reduce surface degradation. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to follow temporary traffic signs and instructions to ensure safety. The public is urged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid potential delays.
