Industrial turnover in Cyprus increased by 4.6% in April 2026

In April 2026, the Industrial Turnover Index in Cyprus reached 143.1 points, marking a 4.6% year-on-year increase. This growth represents the second consecutive monthly rise for the sector. Data from the Statistical Service shows that the manufacturing industry grew by 5.1% to reach 149.2 points. Mining and quarrying experienced an increase of 5.6%, while water supply and material recovery sectors grew by 5.5%. Electricity supply recorded a more modest increase of 1.3%. For the four-month period from January to April 2026, the overall industrial index rose by 3.4% compared to the same period in 2025. Although growth was steady for most months, February 2026 saw a decline of 1.5%.
