Pafos FC reportedly makes bid for Austrian defender Filip Milojevic
Pafos FC has reportedly submitted an official bid to the Austrian club Altach for 21-year-old central defender Filip Milojevic. According to reports from the Austrian website LAOLA1 dated July 3, 2026, the Cypriot club is the first to make a formal move for the player. Milojevic, who is an Austrian youth international, is under contract with Altach until the summer of 2027. During the previous season, he made 22 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga and scored one goal. While other clubs from Germany, Norway, and Portugal—specifically Holstein Kiel, Rosenborg, and Alverca—are reportedly tracking his progress, Pafos FC remains the only club to have initiated formal negotiations. The player joined Altach in the summer of 2024 after his tenure in the Bayer Leverkusen youth system. As of now, Pafos FC has not officially confirmed the negotiations. Analysts suggest the potential transfer aligns with the club's strategy of signing younger players eligible for the B-list roster.
