Fatal alligator attack on 31-year-old woman in Florida river
A 31-year-old woman identified as Brittany Clark died following an attack by a four-meter alligator while swimming in the Econlockhatchee River in Florida. Her partner, 30-year-old Chance Allison, and a roommate were with her when the incident occurred. Allison reported that the attack happened suddenly while they were in the water. Despite attempts by her companions to pull her to the bank, the victim sustained fatal injuries. In a statement to the New York Post, Allison recounted that Clark's final request was for him to care for her German Shepherd, Hawkey. Allison publicly addressed the incident to correct claims that a hiker had warned them against entering the water, stating that no such warning was issued. He emphasized that he was speaking out only to ensure that the facts of the tragedy are accurately reported.
