Cleanup campaign conducted in Paphos public park

On July 4, a major cleanup campaign took place at the Glyfada Street park in Paphos, organized by the City Friends Club. Numerous volunteers participated in the event, removing large quantities of accumulated waste from the site. The initiative was supported by the Cultural and Environmental Group of Chloraka, with representative Andreas Kyriakou commending the efforts of the City Friends Club. Angelos Onisiforou, the Acting Mayor of Paphos, publicly thanked the volunteers for their contribution to the city's cleanliness and aesthetics. He praised the active involvement of the local expatriate community in these efforts. The organizers and local officials emphasized that environmental protection is a collective responsibility. A broader appeal was made to all residents to maintain public spaces and adopt a culture of environmental awareness.
