Irodotos Christodoulou transfers to Slask Wroclaw
The Polish football club Slask Wroclaw has acquired 24-year-old Cypriot central defender Irodotos Christodoulou from the Cypriot club Krasava ENY Ypsonas. The transfer fee for the player is reported to be 135,000 euros. Christodoulou was born on May 1, 2002, in Agios Athanasios, measures 1.83 meters, and is noted for his left-footed playing style and experience in a three-defender formation. The contract is expected to span two years with an optional one-year extension. This marks the first time a Cypriot player has joined the Slask Wroclaw squad. Krasava ENY Ypsonas confirmed the completion of the transfer, acknowledging the player's contribution to their promotion to the First Division. The acquisition aligns with the tactical requirements of the Polish side for a left-footed center-back to support defensive development.
