Three suspects arrested for assault on Turkish Cypriot in Ayia Napa

On July 6, 2026, Cypriot police arrested three 18-year-old men following the severe assault of a 47-year-old Turkish Cypriot in Ayia Napa. The suspects, who are of Albanian, Chilean, and Iraqi origin and were traveling on Swedish passports, were apprehended at dawn after investigators reviewed CCTV footage.
