Panathinaikos finalizes transfers of Brancou Badio and Isaac Bonga

Panathinaikos is set to finalize the signings of Brancou Badio and Isaac Bonga as part of their summer recruitment drive. Brancou Badio, a 27-year-old guard, is arriving in Athens to undergo medical examinations and sign a three-year contract valued at 4.5 million euros, with a 1.5 million euro buyout paid to Valencia. Isaac Bonga, a 27-year-old German forward, has also reached an agreement for a three-year deal with the Greek club following his departure from Partizan Belgrade. Reports regarding Bonga’s salary vary, with some sources citing over 6 million euros and others indicating 6.5 million euros over the contract duration. Bonga opted for Panathinaikos despite interest from Real Madrid, Fenerbahce, and Barcelona, influenced significantly by coach Zeljko Obradovic. The contracts for both players are expected to include specific terms, with Bonga's deal reportedly featuring annual NBA exit clauses. These additions follow the previous acquisition of Moustapha Fall as the team continues to strengthen its roster under club owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos.
