46-year-old woman remains in critical condition following Zakaki shooting

A 46-year-old woman is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit at Nicosia General Hospital following an attempted murder last week in Zakaki. The victim sustained four gunshot wounds, including one to the head and three to other parts of her body. Investigators report that the injuries were inflicted by her husband, who died by suicide following the incident. The woman was initially treated at two separate hospitals in Limassol before being transferred to Nicosia for specialized medical care.
