MetLife Cyprus appoints Panagiotis Dimitriadis as General Manager

MetLife Cyprus has announced the appointment of Panagiotis Dimitriadis as its new General Manager, effective July 1, 2026. Dimitriadis currently serves as the Vice President of Modelling and Actuarial Solutions (MAS) EMEA and will retain these duties alongside his new role in Cyprus. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors, he is tasked with leading the company's local operations. The appointment aims to support the company's 'New Frontier' strategy, which focuses on digital transformation, customer experience, and distribution network expansion. Nuria Garcia, Regional President EMEA and Head of Global Sustainability, expressed confidence in his leadership abilities. MetLife has maintained a presence in Cyprus for more than seven decades. The leadership transition is intended to foster sustainable growth and adapt to evolving customer requirements within the market.
