Alpha Bank Cyprus announces executive committee appointments

Alpha Bank Cyprus has announced a reorganization of its executive committee as part of its ongoing strategic management plan. Penny Spiliotopoulou has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) and joins the bank's executive committee. Spiliotopoulou brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, having worked in the United Kingdom and Greece. She is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a master's degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. Her career began in 1995 at PwC in London. Additionally, Charis Kynigou Landas, who serves as chief private banking officer and an executive committee member, has had her responsibilities expanded. She will now oversee private wealth management, specialized services for high-net-worth clients, international private banking, and treasury management. The bank stated that these changes aim to improve operational speed, market responsiveness, and customer service.
