Nea Salamina approves 2026-27 budget and signs two new players

Nea Salamina's General Assembly has officially approved the club's budget for the 2026-27 season. Under the supervision of Neofytos Larkou and coach Angel Lopez, the team is restructuring its roster. The club has secured Jordi Quintilla on loan from St. Gallen and signed Alua Konfe following his departure from Ethnikos Achnas. These additions strengthen the team's midfield, which now includes options such as Artiles, Gerolemou, Ilia, Quintilla, Konfe, and Christodoulou. Jordi Quintilla, a 32-year-old Spanish midfielder with extensive experience in the Swiss league and Basel, is noted for his passing accuracy and free-kick ability. Additionally, the club announced that goalkeeper Giannis Kalanidis has been sent on loan to Spartakos Kitiou. Management is now reportedly looking for an attacking midfielder to complete the squad's offensive structure.
