Tires set on fire at a Limassol roundabout

On Monday night, around 10:25 p.m., a group of approximately ten youths set fire to tires at a roundabout on Kolonakiou Street in the Germasogeia area of Limassol. Witnesses reported that the individuals collected the tires and poured flammable liquid on them before igniting them. Police and the Fire Service responded to the scene after being alerted by passersby. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the youths fled the area, leading to a police pursuit in the surrounding streets. The Fire Service successfully extinguished the blaze and secured the area for traffic. As of the latest updates, it has not been confirmed whether any arrests have been made.
